The difficulty in accounting is understanding the concepts and when to apply them. Math-wise, you'll do a lot of arithmetic, occasional exponents (which can usually be handled by a business calculator or spreadsheet), and some basic algebra. Your college algebra/trig course will be more involved then accounting math.

Accounting isn't hard like algebra and trig. Accounting deals more with putting money into different accounts debit and credit, keeping track of where they are and having everything balance when you finish.

Accounting also has numbers...but if you are interested with all the money that is coming and going you will probably find it interested...it more of tallying the accounts..debits and credits..Balance sheets..your profits and loss etc...you need have the money balanced in the accounts with the correct amount.....

Well....YEAH! I mean, accounting is all adding and subtracting numbers, isn't it? Sure, you can use a calculator or a computer, but you need to know that the figures are right. They're not always; I learned that the hard way.
