Without more specific details things are sketchy as to what your actual problem is but I'll try to help anyway.
Are your eyelashes/eye stuck together in the morning?
Is there drainage from the eye? Is it weepy etc?
Does it feel scratchy?
Rarely do people really have colds in their eyes.
The bacteria/germs from a cold can move to the eye via the tubes in the head that connect the eyes, nose and mouth together but it isn't considered a cold in the eye.
If the eye it'self is in healthy condition, there should not be a problem in the eye just because you have a cold.
You have probably picked up a virus/germ that is causing you conjunctivitits or pink eye.
There are varing degrees of conjunctivitis/pink eye and this is sooooo very easy to get.
Early stages of conjunctivitits/pink eye will be a weepy eye and an eye that is stuck together in the morning.
If you don't have redness or scratchiness,it will be forthwith if you don't get treatment started.
See an Ophthalmologist who more readily treats the infection than an Optometrist do. . . .they seem to prescribed the best medicine the very first time whereas often times Optometrists may have to treat the infection a time or two with different medicines until they find the right one.
Until you get to an Ophthalmologist, don't share washrags with anyone, don't share your pillow with anyone and be sure to throw away any tissues that you use immediately because to leave one laying around you are spreading the infection because as I said, conjunctivitis is highly contagious and use good handwashing technique to avoid touching your infected eye to your uninfected eye.

Since I have no clue what you mean by an eye cold there is no way to have a clue how to respond. There is no such thing as an eye cold so post your symptoms and mybe someone can help you better.

If you have what is commonly called "pink eye" then you need to get drops from the doctor.
