My boyfriend of 14 years broke up with me on new years eve. I still love him, but I know that the relationship has run it's course. Years ago we had broken up for a year and a half, and he was seeing someone else. But then we got back together, he dumped her to come back to me and our kids. Now he is back with her again. I have been ok with the break up. Like I said it has run it's course. But when I found out he was back with her, I just lost it! I really don't know why. I'm sure that I am hurt, especially because he already is with someone. Maybe I am jealous because he is not having to be alone, meet new people, and date. Which I hate doing. I don't want to hate him. but right now I am. Why do you think I freaked about him going back with her when I know the relationship is over? Is that normal?

He is playing you both. You freaked out because he has you going in the same circle over and over.
You say you realize the relationship has run it's course, but have you really accepted that? Let him go...move forward.
