I noticed the other day when I wiped there was a little bit (just a tiny spot) of light brown/beige discharge on the toilet paper. I am 6 weeks 3 days pregnant, have no cramping, normal pregnancy symptoms (nauseau, frequent urination, tender breasts, etc.). I know that this can happen after having sex, but I didn't have sex the day before. It hasn't shown up on a panty liner or in my panties. It disappeared the next time I went pee and I saw it again this afternoon. It is probably just the size of a pin head. Is this normal? I have no STDs so please don't tell me its a sign of one. I have been tested.

it can be possible. i had it a few times during this pregnancy. I would freak out because of my history and run right to my doctors office.

there was nothing major wrong with me (except i was pregnant, freaked, and saw blood). When i went to my OB she said it was most likely from my blood vessels contracting and contracting. and that it is old blood. Brown discharge is blood that has lost its hemoglobin, which indicates that it is old. It also indicates that it was scant in amount because fresh bleeding will make its way down the vagina in its bright red state in moderate or large amounts.

if it would sooth your peace of mind, i would go to the doctor and have a ultrasound done to make sure everything is alright.
