Hey. I've downloaded World of Warcraft for the ten day demo. I've installed it, and it told me I need to install a patch - I download it, try and run the patch, and it tells me I don't need to. Everytime I try and start the damn game, it starts downloading the patch again - how do I just start playing? Please help.

The downloader is automatic and correct that your version needs updating. Do not attempt to patch the game manually. Simply allow the the game to patch itself.

Might I suggest you try Guild Wars, it's like a better version of World Of Borecraft that you don't have to pay for, and the updates are streamed to you whilst playing, (larger updates are automatically installed when you start the game).

could be those thing could also be if you are trying to install around this time, they are having server issues at the moment and it could be affecting your install, maybe wait till this evening or tomarrow. By the way, this kind of thing isn't common, this is the first time I've seen them have server issues since I've started the game. Only time i've seen servers down is for scheduled maintainence and upgrades.

After you download the patch you should get the "agree" information. If you don't scroll down and click "agree" it won't take the update and will always update until you do.
