It might be allowed, but it depends on when and how long you were employed. If I remember correctly from a job I had over 35 years ago, the basic rule is that you had to have worked 20 weeks during the first four of the last five completed calendar quarters. I don't think there was a restriction of having to work full-time. You also had to be laid off. That is, if you quit or if you were fired for cause, you do not usually qualify (but it wouldn't hurt to ask). You also have to be actively seeking another job. Call your state unemployment office in your area and ask for more information.

Have you been employed, and paid into the fund? If so, yes. But, your reimbusement will be based on you looking for a job, and will be rated on the amount you paid in.

It will also be dependent on why you lost your last job. You were fired = no unemployment.
