The one I loved to watch (for the sheer suspense) is Kris Srikkanth at his peak. In form Sehwag is close.

Greatest clutch batsman, imho, is Javed Miandad.

Greatest Legend : Don Bradman.

Most Artistic : Gundappa Viswanath.

Majestic : Viv Richards.

Great work horses, Geoff Boycott, Sunil Gavaskar, Steve Waugh and of the present Rahul Dravid.

Best overall is, at the risk of sounding cliche, Sachin Tendulkar.

Undoubtly there are three batsmen whom can contend for greatest spot. Don Bradman,Brian Lara and Sachin Tendulakar. Bradman finished his cricket career in great style. Rest two are still in contest.
I think Sachin will win the greatest spot if there is any contest for same.

WE cannot say that there was any greatest batsmen in cricket forever because there many people who excelled in batting at their own times, some of them are gavasker, viv richards, gover etc presently people like sachin tendulkar, brian lara,Andrew flint off,Cris Gayle's,Ricky ponting etc excel in batting for their team.some of this players had got themselves LAND MARK achievements in cricket for their team and for themselves.so in my opinion these players are the key that cricket had become one of most popular sports in our planet.
