For a project in school, we're supposed to turn a book into a play (an adaptation) and preform it for one of the elementary or middle schools in my area. Most of my class was made up of girls so we all wanted fairy tales. We realized if we did it with princesses and fairies that none of the boys would like it. What should we do?

hmmm... that is a very interesting question.

The Chronicles of Narnia is a good fantasy that I believe boys and girls would like. The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe has already been a musical, but you can use other books from the series.

Just a suggestion. Sounds like a fun assignment!

Some kinda twisted fairytale so it is not all traditional, a shrek kinda idea. There is a book full of them called a wolf at my door or something like that. There is also rumplestitskin (no idea how to spell that) which should be okay. :)
