Humans are the only species that will care for another member of the species that may be perceived as "sick" or "weak". We will care for those who are both physically and mentally handicapped, those born with health problems, as well as the elderly, and those with terminal diseases. People can say that over time, over hundreds of thousands, or millions of years ago, we evolved from single celled organisms in the sea to what we are today. We are the only "animals" who think and care the way that we do. I think that we did not evolve to be this way. We were made to be this way. It's not very popular these days, but I still believe in GOD. That's why we are the most caring parents, and that's what separates us from animals.

Many are far less caring than those of some other species. But humans need more care than most others because the brain does so much formation after passing the birth canal (an adult head passing would probably kill more mothers). The skull is built in plates that shift to allow the brain growth and then the plates knit together later.

Language skills are less than rudimentary at first too. Only simple recognition is evident at birth, but later the potential for language develops. The fulfillment depends on exposure.

Math and music skill comes next. Many more skills can be quickly developed later through training - e.g. hunting, killing, fishing, stocks, computers - that overcome the hairless and largely defenseless physical nature.
Speculation exists through the galaxy that the species may overcome the death of its star through migration.

Humans evolved large brains (hence large heads) and also evolved to stand upright, which limited how large the birth canal can be. This combination meant that human babies need to be born undeveloped compared to other animals. In essence, some of the development that in other mammals can happen in the womb must in humans happen in the world. Babies whose parents do not care for them do not live.

Evolution. We have a higher awareness of our surroundings and the dangers in them unlike most other animals. And since theres a parental instinct built into humans. Together this gives us a higher level of care to our young.

Human beings have got 6 senses n animals have only 5.
The sixth sense is the sense to feel... that is love, hate, compassion... etc. That's the reason why we are better than animals.

Out of necessity. Our babies are brought into the world completely helpless and if we didnt care for them, they would die. Most other species' babies are more developed straight out of the womb or they at least have some defense mechanism to protect them

thats not true....many animals will fend of predators trying to make a quick meal of their babies, will fight males that may wander by too close or even humans who come too close to their precious babies...often fighting, tooth and nail, even to the death....belive me, nothing more wrathful than a angry mum, human or otherwise!!!
