EVERYTHING and it seems like nothing is happening. please please please someone give me some type of advice, anything, to give me ideas to get his head more down into my birth canal or to make my water break. i know gravity will take its toll but it seems to be taking forever. im just miserable and it sucks =(

Stick it out mommy. Baby will come when he/she is ready. Don't rush it. Enjoy your last few nights of sleep.
Don't force it.
Good luck and congrats on baby!

Hey Ashley,
Yep it sure sucks and there is not a lot you can do to make the baby come sooner. Just try to enjoy these last few days of quiet because when the baby does come out you will be stupid busy with him/her.Taking walks is always good for you but as for the other stuff stop it they are not good for you and may even hurt you or the baby. The baby will move into the birth canal when it is ready and not when you want it to.Try cleaning your house or make meals and freeze them so that when your baby does get here you will be ahead of the game. I hope you have an easy birth and a healthy baby. Take care.

If your not over due I would not rush your labor. When the baby is fully ready it will come out. It sounds like the Dr is not quite sure when your due date is. Think about it, would you rather have a healthy baby born able to breath on their own with no complications seen in preemies, or would you rather be miserable for another few weeks until your baby is born. I have four children and I know what you are feeling, after 9 months what is two weeks? Relax enjoy your time, take a bath, take a nap, enjoy resting because it will all be over with before you know it.

The last month is miserable, but you aren't due yet and if the baby isn't progressing with all of that, you probably aren't really ready. It sounds like you've tried everything I was going to suggest....I know it's miserable, but mother nature knows what it's doing. Give it a little more time. Maybe go get a pregnancy massage to try to relax you a little while you're waiting. They're great.

Good luck - I promise it won't last forever. :)

Walk curbs.

If it's nice where you are I did this with baby number 1 and had her shortly Afterwards..

You put one foot On the curb 1 in the gutter and step...Keep it like this..Its SOMEWHAT painful (just because of the pressure of the baby) but it did help me dilate more and get things working.

Also hate to bring this up,Because it just sounds dirty....but ..Nipple stimulation Produces a Pitocian Type Horomone that will induce labor if things are favorable.

Congrats you have began into labor. You actually have to relax and let your body do it's think. Take some resfresing leasurely walks and sit on that ball while wahcing TV. You can't really rush labor. Enjoy your last few days kid free (or with less kids) get some extra sleep and the time will come soon! Congrats again.

March 15th is a great day to deliver! Thats my birthday! It's the Ides of March also. The day Julius Cesar was killed. A significant day in history I would say. :)

I'm sorry you are miserable but just think, in a week you could have your wonderfully healthy baby in your arms!

Congratulates and best of luck to you and your baby.

Hey I know it seems like forever but you have to think about your baby, maybe he/she is not ready to come out. Relaxing is the key, if your pushing it seems like forever. I say by experiences, so tell your husband to give a massage, read to your baby, talk to him. But the thing is don't get frustrated. Take it a step at a time. It will be over before you know it.

lol you poor thing, i can just picture youdoing all of this... im not sure why or how it works but i have heard the pineapples and the pineapple juices have enzymes in them that somehow help with labor...

also there is nipple stimulation that some doctors recommend to their patients to help start labor... i think you're supposed to massage each nipple 15 minutes each, and keep switching up through out the day.. it makes your uterus contract or something.... heres a website about it...http://www.birthingnaturally.net/cn/technique/nipple.html

I HOPE THIS HELPS!!

Sorry Hun, only time will do it, when your baby is ready to come out, he or she will. All the old wives tails in the world won't do the trick if your baby isn't ready yet. Good things come to those who wait, it seems like forever but it will happen soon, they can't stay in there forever! Good luck, I wish you an easy painless labor.

I know you're miserable, but you need to let nature take it's course. Don't rush things, just try to enjoy these last few days of pregnancy, it's a feeling like no other and it's about to be over.
