First, read a couple of books on ad copywriting. The classic one is called "Ogilvy on Advertising" and another David Ogilvy book, "Confessions of an Advertising Man," is also very popular though a bit dated.

Next, you will need to find out the company's advertising agency. This can be found in the "Standard Directory of Advertisers" which can be found at your local public or university library. In cojunction with another reference book, the "Standard Directory of Advertising Agencies," this will give you contact information. (Note: contact the ad agency, not the company itself!) You might also try Advertising Age's datacenter: http://adage.com/datacenter/

If your ideas are good and presented professionally, they just may accept your submissions.

You should consider a career in advertising. Copywriters make good money.

If you mean commercial as in advertising, most companies that are advertising have a contract with a company already. You'd be better seeking and advertisement company and expressing your interest in working with them. Who knows, you may even get offered a full time job out of it.

Most places hire advertising firms to develop their ads, so try putting a portfolio together and getting a job at an advertising firm. If your ideas are good they'll get you there.

Otherwise you can try to use the power of the internet to your advantage if you're really good. Make the ads on your own time and put them on a site like devianart or youtube and keep pumping it out until you get noticed. This way you're self-advertising!
