I stopped taking the pill about a month ago. My last period was February 1st. I have a 28 day cycle and I have never been late before. I took a pregnancy test on Monday and it was negative. I have been having syptoms that could be from stopping the pill or from being pregnant...
very sore breasts (never happend with periods before)
cramping
always tired
moody
burping a lot
frequent urination
Also, there has been a milky sort of substance in my urine... I was spotting for a day too.
I don't want to test again too soon, but I really want to be pregnant. I can't get it off of my mind!!! Any advice? Suggestions?
Thanks

First, your period can be a bit irregular after stopping the pill.

Second, you can go for a blood test, which can give you results earlier than a urine test.

Good luck!

Hi there! I know how you feel about the wait driving you crazy. This is just my second month trying for my third. But, enough about me. It sounds like you could be pregnant. You can have all the symptoms you are having or none. If differs from pregnancy to pregnancy. My second child was conceived right after I stopped taking the pill, and I had no prego symptoms with her. It also could be that your periods will need to get back to normal too. I have found that if you had a normal cycle before the pill, it tends to go back to being pretty normal after. Mine has anyway.
I think you should maybe take another pregnancy test to see, if you still haven't started your period yet. HCG levels double every 48 hours for the next couple of months or so if you were prego. I've been surfing the net for the last couple of months and found out a lot of new interesting things. Like, if you knew when you ovulated, hcg would be 25 at 10dpo, 50 at 12 dpo, 100 at 14 dpo, and so on. But anyhow, with all your symptoms, I believe it is very possible especially since you've been trying. I agree, you probably should see your doctor for a blood test, if anything, to make sure everything is okay. And I'll pray for you that it is positive!
