There is no way I could stay with someone who I couldn't trust. It would always be there in the back of my mind, I would worry and think about it so much it would make me crazy and make my life miserable. Life is too short to lead a miserable one. And if this causes regular fighting between you and your wife or if the kids can tell that there is something wrong, then you should separate for the sake of the kids and not put them through all of the bitterness.

My ex told me she cheated and we tried to work it out.She kept on calling and seeing the guy behind my back so I decided that it was over.I believe in second chances but she stepped over the line one to many times. We had two daughters ages 12 and 14 at the time and they both chose to live with me.

If it had been just the two of us without kids I would have never tried to work out anything.I would have packed my stuff and told her to enjoy her life cause that was what I was going to do with mine.

i think if she has the balls to tell you she is in an affair and has had more than one you should step...let her try to make it on her own and you start over. kids are resilient and as long as they are in a stable household, along with being told the truth, and knowing they are loved they will be fine. good luck and hope all works out for ya=)

I think if I was still young and I hadn't been married to her that long, I would leave her. But if I was older and I had already invested like, over 15 years into it (that's a good number,) and if it had truly happened only the one time, I would try and work it out.

But really, my wife cheated on me and I tried to reconcile but she choose her lover over me.

I'm not married but I imagine that if I were and that happened, there's no way in hell I'd stick around and allow such disrespect toward me. I wouldn't even be able to touch her without feeling a bit sick about it after knowing that. I'd be gone in no time flat. Kid issues and assets can be figured out after you make that decision.

Women do it all the time, why should men be different?
I mean women take their men back after affairs, and they touch them, and go down on them... Why is it different for men, then?

No, not divorce, but the wife should be punished, such not not being allowed to leave the house, watch TV, eat snacks, etc.

As long as she let me go sleep with a few hotties and kept her mouth shut about it. She thinks its OK for her to do it but expects you to stay loyal. Forget it. Do yourself some justice first and if she can handle it, then maybe you to can work out your problems.

Your wife is a typical woman, they all do this eventually because they think with their little head.
