The underlayment probably has rot. When water gets on that, it swells up and other than removing and replacing, there's no other solution. Sorry for the bad news.

The only fix is to replace the damaged area. I had just put down a laminated floor when a water filter started leaking and did not notice it until the laminate swelled up. I removed the filter and replaced the flooring.

The only thing you can do is let it dry out. Laminate flooring is laminate (same stuff that is on counter tops) veneer glued on to a particle board substrate. Unfortunately these substrates are very absorbent and will soak up water and swell up. When it dries out it might return to its original condition or it will remain cupped.

Laminate flooring should not be placed where there is any chance of getting wet.

They have laminated underlay for wet areas. I would redo may floor with the right under lay ( vapour barrier) and see if you can get new Parkay that matches. good luck.

particular you could glue the joints, i've got achieved it it for one customer who had a similar situation. of direction the flooring shouldn't try this, maybe the effect of a few unstableness under. Use a sturdy high quality wood glue, get the joints all lined up leaving sufficient space to squeeze a bead of glue in, then push joints tight wiping up extra glue.
