Thinking 'today will be a bad day' = planning to have a bad day.
Thinking 'today will be full of opportunities' = being open to opportunities.

you can call it state of mind, manifesting or wishing.
Be careful what you wish for!

If you go into the day / meeting / moment expecing the worst you will interpret the experience through that lens.

Being conscious of what you are putting out there will enable you to influence what happens.

EG: Monday I started the day with the mantra: 'today is going to be terrible, a catastrophy!'. That is exactly what it became. Yesterday I spent an hour in the morning pumping myself up with positive thoughts which gave me the confidence to make the most of the day.

as a believer, i know that destiny is already future planned and can never be change...but both faith and destiny work for each other, ...... Faith is judging and concluding due to experience, which may lead to predicting an action in a positive way(foreseeing the future).

What happens in our lives comes from three sources
in natures ways of cause & effect ~
Accidents, in which an event may manifest without any
connection to another event ~

Fate, in which our birth creates who we become, very rare ~

and Will, our will and someone's else's will where intention
has purpose with results being in your favor, or not in your favor ~
