Something I've always believed is, you will NEVER 100% get over an old crush. You could even get to 99.9999999% but there will always be that .00000001% bit of feeling attached to them. I'll admit that I think about crushes from back in the day from time to time and wonder what my life would be like today if we'd kept it going but, seeing as how I have a boyfriend, I would never persue those thoughts or "spoiled-leftover crushes" as I like to call them (they're left in the back of your mind like leftover food in the back of a refridgerator. You forget about it but every once in a while it pops back into your mind and you remember it's spoiled and you should throw it out but you never get around to it). Give it time. You'll meet a new guy, he'll treat you like a princess, and you won't think about Mr. 16-year-old as much or like you used to.

The way I got over mine was by remembering that when I was first attracted to him I was a different person at a different place in my life and that I've grown up and gotten everything I could from that relationship.
I still care about him very much but I've moved on, and it sounds like you're ready to do the same!

We are in the same boat, except I'm 22 and my crush is 22 also. I have been in love with my crush since I was 16 and I still have feelings. It sucks, but it takes time. Lots and Lots of time.

It's been a year dear, you should be over him by now. Don't waste any more of your precious life lamenting over the past. What's done is done. Get out more oftten, make some new friends, smile alot, be adventurous and outgoing. There's plenty of more fish in that big ole sea, so go hook one.

You don't 'get over it', you fill your time, head, and heart with someone new.
Who knows, maybe one day you'll bump into him after college, and you'll be 25 and he'll be 22 and there won't be an age difference. Even when you meet the right person, it isn't always the right time.

you move on, chile, move on! first all that child is too young for you. until you're 50, you don't ever need to date a man less than 3 years older than you. if you're 19 and he's 16, you're considered an adult....don't play, stop acting like you didn't know. girl, you'd better leave that CHILD alone. work on getting yourself together - loving yourself and preparing yourself for a MAN.

i think your sister is at her perfect to weigh down on George Clooney. no person is in simple terms too historic to weigh down on a celebraty.I mean my mom is 40 5 and she or he's married and she or he works 2 jobs which to me makes her very effectual and prefer your sister, she is has a weigh down on a celebraty yet she likes Leonardo Di Caprio
