I'm thinking of planning a trip to London in July sometime for my 18th birthday but I'm not sure which part of London I should go to. I want to be able to do some shopping for not a lot of money. And I wanna party, drink, and have a good time.

sounds like Camden in N London.

Good shopping, everywhere else sells the same old stuff you can get anywere but Camdens shops definately have their own style (and well priced).

It's got some nice bars and clubs, google: Koko, Spread Eagle, Barfly and Oh bar.

It's a really young part of town and on the weekends has a good party atmosphere.

If you are going to London, why not take some organized bus tours. That will give you information about the various parts of town, you can see and enjoy all the historical things London has to offer, and the tour operators will certainly be able to tell you where you can go to shop, what pubs are good for a person your age, etc.

Covent Garden's cool, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Wimbledon's a bit further out, but a nice place... there's loads of great places in London!
