Honestly?? I've thought for a very long time that the real problem lies with the Van Halen brothers being jerks. Granted, DLR is extremely obnoxious and all, but his antics really made Van Halen (IMO!). But when they kicked him out, I thought well he's just an obnoxious twit. But then they did the same thing to Sammy Hagar and Gary Cherone. After going through 3 lead singers within 12 years, I say the real problem is with Eddie and Alex. But I do wish they'd all get over themselves, regroup and tour...they're one of my all-time favorites!

I love van halen w/david lee roth, however, he is by all accounts the biggest asshole in the world. every time they try to reunite, they can't tolerate him. Eddie is not that easy to get along with either, or maybe valerie won't let him

eddie can't stand david, but he's willing to give it a try. but david being david gets on eddie's nerves, like old times, then they start yelling and fighting. so no, i don't think that vh will ever tour with dlr, too sad. i know many people that would love to see this happen.
