if you potentially get the job...you will receive a substantial discount on yoru first purchase....they do this because they expect you to wear there brand while you are on the sales floor. You can not have any visible labels-eagle, pony, whatever showing....if it's not the Gap's clothing then you need to wear something that doesn't have a label that is visible to the eye.
GOOD LUCK on the interview!!

I worked there in 2000-2001. You can wear clothes that arent Gap but have to look like Gap clothes. (plain t-shirts, sweaters, etc). I dont think you can wear "holy" jeans. They give you a good enough discount that you can buy their stuff once you start working there. You can NOT wear another store/brand's logo.

Don't wear a competitors logo and no holy jeans for the interview either. Some of their holy jeans while on the job would be okay.

Holey jeans, no. No matter how fashionable, they aren't professional enough for a job interview. You want them to know that you can dress appropriately for the occasion. I wouldn't wear a screaming logo for another brand either. Try a nice button-down shirt and a pair of black or khaki slacks.

wear a SUIT, if i was interviewing you and you weren't in a suit or shirt and tie I wouldn't care what brand it was. Working on the floor is differnt you need the apearl, but think of it this way. If you had a kid come in wearing jeans and a shirt would you consider him.

don't wear that stuff to the interview and at the interview you can ask about work attire. Always dress nice to make a good interview impression.

I would'nt insult them like that. I mean you can wear a different label but wear something over the logo.

They care. And of course, no ripped jeans. Use some common sense.
