They do not want ID at all too Ashamed of who they are
Last I knew the democrats were so ashamed of being an American to even want ID to be shown when voting

Funny you should ask - this was proposed by the GOP under direction from Bush - not the Democrats. The law was passed under the previous house.

i heard chuck schumer say he wanted a national id card for the immigration problem. but, i've heard many republicans call for a national id card for the terrorism problem.
