Good question. Yes, I'm the same on here as I am in real life. I mess around on here when I;m feeling mischievous but mostly I behave myself.
Whether I'd be perceived as being the same by somebody else is another matter. People I may get on with on answers might hate my guts in real life.
Answers affords us a certain ammount of freedom: we have little or no past on here and we are virtually free from our perceived self. On here we are free to answer questions without conforming to what others expect of us because we're anonymous.
It's a lot like travelling abroad for months by yourself - people take you for the person you are, by the things you do not by the things you've done or the person you've been.
Yes, I do answer truthfully and from the heart.....and sometimes stupidly on here. It's the only way to be -100% myself.

I'm the same, but i'm not sure about others...some people just feel more confortable behind their desk than out there in the real world. It's just like some questions that people are asking...some of these are too akward to ask someone face to face.

No, I am exactly how I am in real life and have received grief and tirades for doing so, but I am honest and open about my feelings and if others have a hard time with that, oh, well... perhaps they need to do some introspective searching of their own and not have a persecution complex.

of course I'd act the same why any different. If sum 1 asked "should I jump off a roof"? I'd say no, not unless you want to die. If sum 1 said that in real life, no wait a minute this is real life with real people who do you think we are????....robots made of tin?? uhhhh....NO!!!! well I'm a real person I'm saying this in "real life" HOW RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take Yahoo Answers less seriously than reality unless I'm giving advice in a different section (not P&S), then I'll be sincere & helpful.
