"If I were to address a Democrat Theme Team equivalent, I would focus my effort on trying to impress them with the issue that will cost them political power down the road. This issue is Iran. While President Bush, a Republican, remains Commander in Chief, a Democrat-controlled Congress shares responsibility on war and peace from this point on. The conflict in Iraq, although ongoing, is a product of the Republican-controlled past. The looming conflict with Iran, however, will be assessed as a product of a Democrat-controlled present and future. If Iraq destroyed the Republican Party, Iran will destroy the Democrats."

The ostrich treatment to foreign policy issues is going to initiate the next dark Age. Denial kills people. It destroys civilizations and it is destroying the west. From the time of Constantine in 330AD to 476AD Rome was wracked by successive political upheavals. Many influence from outside the realm drew people into their selfishness. Moral decay and decline contributed to the fall of Rome but most was due to indescisiveness or playing politic football on items of national security. Then as now a lot is at stake. We either learn from history or we are destined to repeat it..
The RINOS destroyed the Republican Party and NOT Iraq. By not having the balls to be true conservatives and quit spending on government wealth re-distribution projects, the concentration on dealing with terrorism will haunt us long into this century. Eventually, civilization as we know it will no longer exist.
Had Reagan been around this whole sh*teree would have been over and done.
I am buying firearms and food. I don't believe I will see a return to Republic. We are very close to the time when the Vandal wreak havoc from the South.
Ammo up.
Islam in it's self is innocuous as are most religions. In the teachings of the Koran as professed is that Sharia is the law they adhere too, Sharia law is a 8th century remnant that goes against societal norms. The "fanatical islamo-fascists" bent on world destruction believe that through Jihad the Messiah will come. Well, that said, people are people, I think a person can believe what they wish as long as their belief does not inhibit my ability to believe what I choose.
Islam has three tenants for dealing with non-muslims, Convert to islam, tax and enslave, or kill. While the majority of muslims don't feel this doctrine is valid, the islamo-fascists that are soon to enplace Sharia in Europe with have countless infidels to deal with..
I would recommend some reading before you give islam a pass, read Robert Spencer's book "The Political Incorrect Guide to Islam" and also see if you can get a copy of the DVD "Obsession" which is a very good documentary of radical islam and a must see for anyone who questions why some muslims are creating a very dangerous situation for this planet.
I've known people of all faiths, from Jew, Muslim, Christian Buddhist, Hindu, Wiccan, and each one have the view that their religion is the "only" correct one and "if only" people would see what they see the world would be a better place..
Here is a link to a must read article that is a glimpse of the future regarding Islam. It is a must read.. it's long but well worth the time.

What baffles me is that the supposed "peaceful" muslims and their clerics don't condemn these radicals for fear of reprisal, guess what by denying a problem exists won't make it go away. Muslim radicals killed 3000+ people in NYC and DC on 9/11/01, in my opinion the was is not on Terror, we need to call it what it is, you can't fight an ideology, you need to fight an enemy, radicals are the enemy, the direction their clerics preach is a global sharia under a new Caliphate (muslim pope)..
Do a google on Sharia, you will find many of the same things as you'd find in the Old testament book of Leviticus, while these "laws" were fine and dandy 2000 years ago, the social implications are not valid today.

Iraq will not and could not destroy either political party any more than Iran could. The problem in the middle east is now as it has been for about 3 000 years. The Jews and the Arabs don't like each other. Long before the U. S. got involved in the middle east, the Jews and the Arabs where killing each other, unfortunately it will keep on far into the future. Also unfortunate, is the Jews have convinced (or coerced) the U.S. into believing the Arabs are always at fault. (think about it, any hatred that has been going on for 3000 years can't always be the fault of just one side).

Probably. Whenever a difficult time comes up, people will always criticise those in power in a civilised country rather than criticise those elsewhere. In the case of the Iraq war, that's the Republicans. If there's conflict in Iran, anyone with a grudge against authority will blame the Democrats, though less so because it's mainly Democrat voters who have their little fight with authority. Republican voters seem to accept authority that little bit more.

No No No. Iran War will destroy both. Iran50% and Republicans 100%.What Scot Ritter did not say is that people who order the strike will be held responsible not the democrat congress.I think they will be more interested that this administration do some thing like this.

The democratic party would be so much easier to destroy. They have a tendency to think they can talk their way out of being killed by the terrorists.

Well, all the members of the Republican party are still alive, so I don't know what you are talking about by them being destroyed.

Nope, because the Republican President still controls his own foreign policy, and without diplomatic efforts the military solution is just plain stupid. (Makes us look like the bad guys.)
