we were on a strict budget but now that my husband had changed jobs, we have twice as much. plus tax refund :) anyway i dont know i just felt like she was too young to even understand or know the theme in her room? she is only about to be 10 months. maybe i'm underestimating ? I think 18 months sounds like a reasonable time. i feel like i just bought all the stuff in her nursery. just curious to see what everyone else thought/did!! :)

It all depends on money...If you have the money to do it then do it but I changed my sons when he was 18 months becuase that is when he started liking a certian theme...If you change it to early when your child starts liking now things they will want to change it agian...

I changed my daughters theme at 18 months. Now she is 8 and it gets changed every year. Let your child show an interest in something before you change

honestly... you can change it when you feel ready... or if you get sick of the theme... my sons theme (in august 2005) was pooh bear... and right around the time disney's cars came out (june 2006) he loved it... so i changed it to cars... but now (february 2007) he is in love with thomas the tank... and i'm too poor to change it just now... it depends on your daughters interests... does she seem to like the theme her room is now...? is there anything she is really into...? are you on a strict budget...?

Whenever she's old enough to express her own personal preference.
