Yes Barcelona did beat Liverpool yesterday.
The aggregate score being 2-2 the winner was decided on the away goals rule-the one scoring most away goals winning.
Barcelona had one goal in Spain(home) and one in England(away). However Liverpool had both goals in Spain(away).
Thus Liverpool progressed.

FC Barcelona's reign as the European champions ended on Tuesday, 06 March 2007 at Anfield as Liverpool progress to the quarter-finals of the 2006-2007 UEFA Champions' League on away goals rule.

Eidur Gudjohnsen scored the only goal of the match in the 75th minute but his winning goal was not enough to overturn the 2-1 deficit in the first leg. the aggregate score ended in a 2-2 draw but Liverpool progress as they have scored 2 goals in SPAIN to win the match 2-1.

as for the Real Madrid match this weekend, it's the dosmetic league which is the Spanish Primera Liga. all they hope for is the La Liga title this season.

This is because they lost 2-1 but in their home, and won 1-0 as a visitor, so they have the same amount of points, 3 and 3 for winning. So this is a tie. Both of the teams made 2 goals. So this is a tie as well. Barcelona only made one goal in their home and one as a visitor but Liverpool made 2 as a visitor, this counts and Barcelona is out. Rule: who made more goals as a visitor wins.
