Or for that effect any soundtrack for your stereotypical, retro, semi-comedic monster movie. What genre of music are these monster songs influenced by? Is it folk Romanian or something like that? What scale is being played? Just want to be able to identify the genre so I can look for similar stuff. Thanks.

I don't know how to classify it but the artist is Danny Elfman and all his stuff sounds alike so just buy his soundtracks and you'll have more music that sounds like that. . .

Beetlejuice
Edward Scissorhands
PeeWee's Big Adventure
Batman
Nightmare Before Christmas
Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Nightbreed
Scrooged
Donnie Darko
and on and on and on...

He's got one CD called "Music For A Darkened Theatre" and it's a good sampling of a lot of his work.

Yeah. that's what i've got continuously believed. oftentimes conversing, there is not any good or undesirable song. Like they say, one guy's treasure is yet another guy's trash. So, this suggests Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers etc. at the instant are not undesirable song. An Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Beatles etc. at the instant are not good song. some human beings will argue approximately skills. yet purely simply by fact a musician has skills doesen't advise each and every physique could like the song. in actuality, i will checklist my fingernails tapping a beat on the table and that i'm specific somebody in this international will discover that greater effective than a Van Halen or Jimi Hendrix solo. the same old of song is a hundred% subjective and not the rest.
