If you don't know how to cast a spell, what exactly are you trying to cast a spell about? I don't think that you need a wand to cast a spell, but I do know this, the rule of 3 is very much a part of any sort of spell you would cast. So make sure your intentions are pure, if they're not you'll get whatever misfortune you ask for anyone else, times three, so try to send out good, you'll get good back!

You don't need a wand. If you are practicing Wicca usually candles tend to be involved as well as certain herbs said to have magical properties. You can get spellbooks from your local library and certain sites online but don't put too much faith in them.
It is my personal belief that magic has more to do with the power of your mind and heart and less to do with ritual. I however am not of the Wiccan religion.

wands add focus to a spell or contain stored power. spells can still be cast without one. Some of the more common methods are candle magic, knots in a string, or writing them down while concentrating.

You could always try the Bippedy Boppedy Boo Method outlined in Cinderella. If you dont have a wand, I imagine any old stick would do. Also try the children's dress up section of the dollar store for cheap wands.

You don't need a wand, you also don't need a familiar animal. I swear, magic folks are the last stereotype.
