Bring in someone new who would done the Red, White, & Blue tights & help in fighting the global war against terrorism, someone who would take out terrorist organizations & bring them to justice.

I hope that they make him come back to life somehow, like they did when he got frozen. Although its a whole different situation since he got shot. He is the symbol of america and since america isnt dead he shouldnt be either. Frank Castle wouldnt work because he is the Punisher. You cant make the punisher be anything else. Hes to angry anyway so he wouldnt make a very good embodyment of the american pride.

They'll drag it out and try to shake it up with someone new in the costume - perhaps 'hired' by the government or Tony Stark... but hopefully a character with his own mind who'll live up to the name and stand for something larger than being a 'yes man' for whatever the current adminstration is and stand for what the uniform stands for - an idea, a principle...
If making him 'cool' is their goal then I imagine they'll shake it up by introducing a new race... or maybe several Captain Americas to start... until a truely great one emerges...

I'm sorry that you don't like Captain America I thought that it was a great twist to put the ultimate boyscout on the wrong side of the law in the civil war story-line, he has always been a symbol of america and if they bring him back it would be nice for them to give him some other abilities and new weapons

We don’t NEED ‘cool’…! Save that for ‘hip’, ‘relevant’ anti-heroes, who fight among themselves and doubt the rightness of what they do.
What we need today is the same as we always needed: inspiration, hope, meaning. We need an icon who can inspire us to be the best that we can be as a nation, someone who tells us that America is the best nation in the world and worth saving, one who shares confidence, courage and strength with us.
What Stan Lee has done here is to slap America in the face and give comfort and encouragement to our nation’s enemies. If he thinks that they will cut him any slack if they take over here, he’s got another think coming!
