About an 8. I like the Wright trade, you had no speed and that will pick up some SB's. Pitching you can leave alone for a while and see where it gets you - you don't have to play them EVERY game so watch Maroth's match ups he can take you from first to worst on ERA and WHIP in 1 outing. Dumpster and Jenks can do the same, look for an upgrade to Dumpster. If there are no closers left, look for potential closers like Zumaya, Gonzalez, Broxton or Otsuka.
The bench needs to go - none of those players serve a purpose (except Drew - who is still speculation but you can afford it with Reyes in front of him). Carrying 2 catchers is fantasy death - if you made a list of the top 150 offensive players that you would want contributing to those stats, regardless of position, there would probably only be 1 catcher on your list. Even though you picked up 2 good catchers they still don't contribute as much as other players.
Crede is a marginal fill in - Cabrera should always be in your lineup unless he is hurt. So Crede is expendable a slight upgrade that may be available in your league is Edwin Encarnacion who you could also use at Util.
Giles is the same, only there in case Sanchez can't play - go with more purpose from a player like Chris Burke who can add to SB's with a little more power than Giles.
Monroe is like Adam Dunn of the AL, when he slumps he is bad and will strike out a lot. Add a back up you can count on - for power look for Chris Duncan, St Louis, he hit 22 HR's in 90 games playing part time. He is a starter this year and could hit 40 - but he can only be played against RHP. He hits .300+ off RHP and -.200 off LHP.
Back to the catchers - and why you should trade Piazza. He is good trade bait right now, he is a 38 year old catcher switching leagues and going to DH for a team that is station to station and doesn't create a lot of RBI opportunities, they rely on HR's and multiple hits. Hitting in the 4 spot may not bring as many RBI's as some people think. He will be a decent fantasy C. But because of his HR's (which you shouldn't have too many problems with) he will also bring you the most value for a good closer or tier one pitcher. You are in a 8 team league so catcher values are pretty low to begin with - once you get past Mauer the rest are pretty close but you may be able to get another pitcher out of the team that took Russell Martin.
If you can't get a deal done with him, hang on to him and play him until you absolutely need the bench spot. Barrett is a good hitting catcher who will carry a .300 avg and with their lineup carry solid numbers so either catcher is useable all season.

First off, how does your league not veto that trade?
Next, play Sheff at 1B - Delgado will drag down your AVG, E and Ks.
Get a better 2B (Sanchez only gives AVG and got hurt yesterday/Piazza too). The rest of your offense is awesome.
After last years World Series, be thankful that the errors won't count against your pitchers (given that you have 3 Tigers pitchers). Your starting pitchers are OK at the top, but Buerhle, Garcia, and Maroth are highly questionable (esp. in an 8 team league). Your closers are fair wth Wagner being solid, Jenks adequate, and Dempster just a filler.

You should have kept David Wright, Beltran will start slow, Wells hit for a great average as well as sanchez but you can only get so many points for average. the bench needs work and with Delgado at 1st, you do not really need 2 catchers, Bay and Delgado are your strongest offensive players.Pitching is about average, Matsuzaka's first your in the states-he may start fast but will have a lull mid season, hopefully for you he will come out of it in August, Buehrle will only be average at best over the entire season, Verlander should be strong, watch your relievers, you may need to trade for one. Zambrano should also be strong. Sheffield should do fine but he is changing teams to one that has a 1B and DH there from last year. Monroe will be up and down just like last year. He may be worth keeping . You got lots of good defensive guys but there is no points for defense.

Very nice Team. I would probobly get rid of Monroe, Barrett and Giles and pick up some better Util players. (maybe try to package Giles in a trade to someone who has a bad 2ber. The team thou looks very solid. (also Dempster will lose his closeing gig to wood in the year. Look for another closer)
I give this team 8.5-9 outta 10. You should be top 3 barring injuries in your league.
BTW keep an eye on Sanchez he is hurt.

you appear to be well-rounded in all categories, however you have a number of players with prior injuries (Sheffield, Thomas-old, Buehrle, Piazza), should be decent though, top-4 in your league if can stay healthy,
I don't really care for your rotation though, high ERA
nice addition with Reyes, plenty of SB

thank you for asking this question as you provide me of venture to vent. the main over rated team hands down is Wisconsin. they're solid, i'm going to provide them that, yet no longer #5. final year they did no longer play Ohio State it somewhat is why they went 11-a million. once you play in a convention the place 6 out of 11 communities are not even bowl eligible, you do no longer play the final team, and lose to the 2d ultimate, you larger pass 11-a million. Their maximum strategies-blowing win interior the same old season became into against 8-4 Penn State. I advise whoopdy do! I picked the strategies-blowing 3 communities interior the enormous ten to lose their bowl video games final year and became into applicable on 2 out of three. someway, Wisconsin controlled to conquer Darren Mcfadden for his or her in basic terms strategies-blowing win of the year which for my section nevertheless isn't sufficient to be ranked #5. EDIT: Luv to holiday. i'm no longer a badgers fan yet curiously i know them extra desirable than you. Wisconsin did no longer play Ohio State. They performed Michigan and misplaced via 14. they did no longer play Ohio State in 2006, it somewhat is why they went 11-a million. in case you adore the badgers plenty get YOUR information as we talk. Or is it purely as no longer elementary which you would be able to have faith they're ranked #5 with out enjoying Ohio State as that's for me?
