I just had to answer this question because I just finished painting my bathroom and my dog somehow tripped over the rolling pan and has paint on his elbow and side. I didn't actually paint him since he did it himself but I could only paint 1 anyway since that's all I have.

If I have the right equipment, say a conveyor belt and a power spray painter, probably as many as could pass by me in that amount of time! Why would you want to paint a dog?

I've never painted a dog. I don't think they would like that very much!

Depends on the size of the dog and what I'm painting them with.
Paint brush: one
Paintball gun: hundreds. (just joking!)

I'd have a hard time holding onto the tail with one hand, and the brush with the other...So I'll just pick "ONE"...one dog an hour.

if you use the " dip " method, instead of a brush, I'm sure you could get quite a few done in a hour.......
