PROVIGIL is a medication to treat excessive sleepiness caused by certain sleep disorders.
I would take sarge927's advice and look in to Sleep Apnea.
Untreated, sleep apnea can cause high blood pressure and other cardiovascular disease, memory problems, weight gain, impotency, and headaches. Moreover, untreated sleep apnea may be responsible for job impairment and motor vehicle crashes.
Alot of people that have heart attacks and strokes don't know they have sleep apena.
If you do find out you have a sleep disorder find a doctor that will perscribe provigil as treatment option and use your bipap or cpap machine everynight.
You can make bad decisions when your extremely fatigued
that have life changing effects.

You could be low in iron .Or you could have a under active Thyroid problem. You should see a family Dr.
You can have blood work done to see if that is your problem .
Some people require more sleep then others , but if your always tired ,it can be many different reasons .

You have two of the symptoms of sleep apnea, a condition where you wake up very briefly hundreds of times a night. It stops you from entering REM sleep, which is the restful phase of sleep. Talk to your doctor about it. He/She may send you for a sleep study. If it's not apnea, there are new prescription medications you may be able to take that will allow you to get a good RESTFUL night's sleep.

I don't know. I have this problem when I get too much sleep I'm drained of energy, and when I don't get enough sleep, I feel hyper, and just a bit crazy. I think you should see a doctor.

Get out and exercise more even though you don't feel like it. It sounds like you may be under a lot of stress and stress can wear you down. Exercise reduces stress.

maybe you need more sleep, or you should eat better. an occasional nap never hurts. if it is really bothering you, GO ASK YOUR DOCTOR. they are trained in this sort of thing.
