girl welcome to the club! lol
it's all about hormones, they mess you up bad.
smells was the worst for me, I couldn't stand the smell of Dove soap, a soap we used ALL the time. ended up having to switch to another soap. and to tell the truth, I never really got over that, I don't use Dove soap now. same with some of the foods I used to eat before I was pregnant and can't eat now. some foods I'm even allergic to now! go figure!

Just pregnancy! When I was pregnant with my son I could not stand ground meat! Just walking by it at the market made me sick. If I smelled it cooking I could not get out of the house fast enough! I don't know why things like that happen, they just do....It all hormones! Most of the cravings we have are because we need a particular thing in that type of food. But beware you may not like chicken for a long time even after you have the baby. My son is nearly 5 now and I just started eating Hamburger meat again about a year ago and still do not love it and it has to be hidden and very finely chooped (spaghetti sauce, taco meat etc.) LOL!

It's just a symptom from the pregnancy. It happens to almost everyone. Some people get sick at the smell of perfumes, or can't drink coffee or can't eat all sorts of foods ranging from vegetables to meats. You're still in the first trimester of the pregnancy. These symptoms start to go away around the middle of your second trimester. Sometimes it persists throughout the pregnancy. The reason seems to be behind the hormones and your how it heightens your sensitivity. The worst of it should be over soon though.

of direction you're a "Godlike Mystical Being"! And, as a GMB, your tastebuds are exquisitely comfortable and exceedingly sophisticated. classic grandma's rooster soup in simple terms won't decrease it for persons such as you. So, right it particularly is a theory: zip up the soup with some style bursts! evaluate including: a million. 2 T Cumin 2. a million/2 cup Salsa 3. a million 2 or 4 ozcan diced green chili's 4. some sliced up jalapenos 5. Black beans 6. candy corn 7. crushed corn chips 8. bitter cream and shredded cheddar cheese 9. Diced Tomatos 10. Sliced zuchinni, carrots, potatos and so on. Yum!

Hormones GIRL.... I could not stand if my husband made a pot roast in the oven. I had to leave the house and go to mother's. But I loved RED MEAT- like steaks and ribs but pot roast was so Gross. I think Your body is telling you, YOU need more protein and iron. I don't eat chicken that much but I couldn't cook it!!! Try going out to eat the chicken. I never cooked b/c the blood and meat just looked awful to me..
Hope this helps.

It's because your body is craving the protein found in beef which is something your baby needs to grow healthy and strong.
I was the same way with the chicken, it grossed me out. Get the frozen chicken breasts that way you take it out of the freezer, put it in the oven and it's ready to eat, no having to deal with the smell and fatty parts of raw chicken.
Check out www.beefinfo.org/nutrient.cfm, there's alot of information about the nutrients found in beef.

I'm the same way...since the first few weeks of my pregnancy I have been choking down meat and green vegetables. I used to love salad, meat (any kind), and vegetables for dinner. Now, I have to choke down the vegetables and meat and I dont even bother making a salad anymore because it just grosses me out!! I don't have any odd cravings either...just food aversions.

I had the same thing but reveresed...I couldn't eat beef..which is ridiculous because I'm a total carnivour..nothings better than a good steak...but when I was prego...I couldn't stomach it...
Oddly enough...I started craving taco bell (I know...barf right?) I had always hated it, and one day I woke up and told my husband to go "get me a chalupa, whatever the heck those are"...and he did...and I've been hooked eversince.
Hormones...they make you do crazy things.
