Hi. I want to sell my ps2 on ebay, but I am not sure how much for. There is a lot of variation in prices. Could someone give me an idea of how much to sell it for?

- it has been hardly used and is in good working order
- includes controllor and cables (no box though)
- has 5 games with it. not major titles, but still alright games

also, how much more would I be able to get if I included my old PSone, with cables controllor and a few games?

Thanks.

I sell occasionally on eBay, and first off, do a search under completed transactions for your item. You need to be a registered user - easy to sign up if you're not. Go into Advanced search, type in 'ps2' and check the 'completed listings' box. You'll see what systems sold for.

As for starting price, some say start low is good - but you take the chance of letting it go for a lot less that you had wanted. To avoid that - add a reserve - the minimum amount (not seen by bidders) you're willing to sell it for. Problem there is it costs more to list that way.

I personally just list it for what I'd be willing to let it go for and hope that is sells for higher. If someone wants it, they'll bid on it.

As far as throwing in extras - again, depends. Sometimes it works and gets attention; sometimes people just want the basic and walk away. You can try it without the extras, and if there are no bites, relist and add more stuff.

good luck!

go to ebay and do a search for ps2. then on the left hand side of of the page look for the "completed" checkbox. check it and search again and see how much the boxes have been going for to give you an idea what to sell if for.
