Well it is very soon after the first one, but hopefully everything passed from the first miscarriage. Preferrably it is nice to wait for a few cycles before getting pregnant again after a miscarriage, but since you already are pregnant, take good care of yourself, take your vitamins and things should be fine.

I would say not. I too have had a history of m/c in the past. I have my son, which was a threatened m/c because I actually had a period for 5mo. (he was a healthy baby boy- just turned 8) I had two more m/c at 10 and 14 wks. I am currently 5 wks. p/g. I am remaining positive for a healthy pregnancy. I have many friends/family who have gone through similiar situations....my sister had three in a row, went through a series of testing only to have two children within 18 months! There is no rhyme or reason. I was actually looking online today to find out about a lack of symptoms at five weeks. Shouldn't I have some by now. Keep your chin up. Its out of our hands!

Your chances of carrying this child to full term is the same as anyone elses .. prior miscarriage or not!
most miscarriages are due to something being wrong with the implanation of the baby, or some kind of disability .. your body rejects it.
Your body wants perfection and if there is any deformality with the baby, then nature will take its course and you will abort the baby.
This one is probably a perfect baby! you should be able to carry it full term .. many women have 1 miscarriage and the rest are perfectly healthy full term babies.

Unless there is a medical condition, or you have some kind of scarring from an abortion, or there is some kind of infection, or std problem .. you should be just fine!

good luck! God bless! :)

This baby could turn out to be perfectly healthy. Every pregnancy is different no matter how close together.

Make sure to take your vitamins and take care of yourself so that you know you are doing everything in your power to keep this baby healthy.

Good Luck and may I also suggest visiting http://www.justmommies.com/boards/index.php. It is a very helpful place to go and talk to other women in your position.

No they have proven that most women who miscarry go on to have healthy pregnancy. Its commen to miscarry the first baby and normally its a one off problem that does not re occur. It is quite soon after your 1st miscarry so make sure you follow your doctors advise. I really wish you lots of luck.

DID YOU HAVE A D&C. IF YOU DID THAN YOU NEEDED TO WAIT AT LEAST 4-6 MONTHS TO TRY AGAIN. BECAUSE YOUR BODY NEEDS TO HEAL. I HAD ONE 2 YEARS AGO ON CHRISTMAS. AND MY DR. TOLD ME TO WAIT 4-6 MONTHS. BUT JUST LEAVE IT IN GOD'S HANDS. IM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSE. AND CONGRATS ON THIS LITTLE ONE. GOOD LUCK YOU WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS.

Talk to your doctor. He/she is the only one that can properly answer that question.

I am sorry for your loss, but you really need to express your concerns to your doctor.
