My best friend is having a baby and she wants me to come see her when she's in the hospital. Thing is, I have to travel FAR (another province away). Her boyfriend doesn't like me because he dated my sister a long LONG time ago. He doesn't want me to go there to see her when the baby's born but she keeps asking me when I'm coming. I don't know what to do. I don't want to ruin the birth of this baby by being there but I want to be there for my best friend and she wants me there to. She tells him that she wants me there but he's the controlling type of bf (example: first time she got pregnant, he made her overdose on E and she miscarried because he didn't want a baby) He's really weird and rude. I don't know what to do. It's a complicated situation.

Go! But make sure you take a friend or arrange to have a friend near by you can stay with. Also bring something for him and the baby(he may not like sharing the attention with the baby). P.S. Ever consider getting your friend into therapy she sound like she could use some help if she staying with someone willing to do her physical harm in order to have their way.

" first time she got pregnant, he made her overdose" I would have to say to that that she shoulnd't have ALLOWED him to have that much control over her to begin with. It's not that complicated, he is controlling, she is ALLOWING him to control her. I say GO see your friend. He doesn't rule the hospital and if she wants you there you are allowed to be there...or are YOU going to allow him to control you too...maybe if more people showed her that she doesn't HAVE to allow him to control her she would get away from him. But saying he FORCED her to od...that's a little far fethched unless he sat on top of her and forced it down her throat. If she took it willingly she is at fault.

Maybe you should consider making some new friends. This girl has gone down a pretty low path with her pregnancies, abortions and boyfriends. I'd strongly suggest adoption to this girl.

be a true best friend and be there for ur best friend...jus cuz he is like that doesn't mean u don't go...shse wants u there rather he likes it or not..he'll get over it and if he don't like OOO WELL..and y did she stay wit him after he made her overdose on e...thats ****** up 4 real
