The psychologist is a person with rights, whereas a bible is an inanimate book of lies.

What more, people who quote the bible most often lie. John 14:6 looks NOTHING like what he just said! Christians think they can just ramble off random verses and numbers to people and somehow every single brainfart they have is somehow divinely profound. News for you: God sees what you're doing and he wants you all to stop... NOW

The bible doesn't help people cope with their mental illnesses. Many people suffer through illnesses like depression without seeking treatment because they think that their illness is a consequence of sin. So some fundamentalist doctrines can actually prevent people from coping well or recovering from their mental illnesses. (Look at the data, if you have the courage.)
