Yep, they were my favorite toy.
I got a police station set for christmas when I was about 5-6, and then got a space station for my birthday.
I spent years collecting them, mostly the castle and space sets.
Then my dad threw them all away one day as a punishment for hitting my mother (I had tripped and hit my head on the mantel of the fireplace, and apparently it looked hilarious because she started laughing, i shut her up quite effectively, and immediately knew I was a dead man when my dad got home.
I've bought a few little sets for my daughter, but they seem to have changed over the years. Most of the kits now try to determine a way of giving you as few actuall pieces as possible.
though some of the star wars stuff is pretty cool.

Legos have been around since 1932, so yes I'd say most if not all of us came along after that.

Yes, and I still love them. I'm 26 and I buy them for my nieces and nephews just so I can play with them too!!!

YES I hated them. My brother would leave them and I would step on them! GRRRR. My kids do not own a single one!
