I'd get an iPod Shuffle. You can fit about 240 songs on it. iTunes will convert any WMA files to MP3, and it's easy to import your current music library to iTunes.

By doing the above (£55 for 1GB version), you can decide if you like Apple products before spending a larger amount on a "big" iPod.

A lot of people criticise iPods, but they are simple and easy to use. They look and feel expensive, and in my opinion are a pleasure to own.

Other MP3 players have lots more features, but would you really use them (after the novelty has worn off)?.

I would say a 30 GB iPod is best. It has a large color display, holds 7000 songs and plays video. But you don't have to spend $300; I got a free one from this site: http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=36920289.... I signed up to get 5 DVDs for $5, which came about a week later. Then after I got 5 friends to sign up, I got a free iPod in the mail. NO LIE. It's all real and through some advertising company. Go to http://ipods.freepay.com/?r=36920289... and try it for yourself. FREE is always better!! Good luck =]

nope you won't be able to. the in reality way you are able to deal with an ipod is through iTunes. WMA gained't synch, or deal with your ipod. it wont' recognize the ipod. is there some rationalization why you do not favor to apply iTunes? you do not could acquire all of your music from the itunes music save. in truth, truly some the time i only use it to synch my music, create playlists, etc. for the first year i did not purchase ANY music from the itunes save. itunes is a rather reliable administration application on your ipod. it rips your cds to mp3 truly instantly too. better area is it may recognize maximum cds - so u do not even favor to variety contained in the names of the songs after ripping. supply it a attempt. i imagine the hot shuffle is truly wonderful too. you ought to so get it.

take my advice and don't buy an ipod. Mine lasted a year and then it stopped working. One of the earphones broke shortly after. If you lose tracks that you download from itunes, they don't let you redownlaod them like some other music providers do.

Yes, i would DEF. get an MP3 player instead .. it is so easy to copy your music from your PC to your MP3 Player using Windows Media Player ....

Just plug your MP3 into your computer ... go to windows media player ... click on "Sync" ... and click-and-drag the songs you want on your MP3 player onto the left side ... and click "Start Sync" and it copies them.
