I am really stressed and bored. If anybody has any ideas for me to pamper myself I was wondering what you have in mind. If you have any ideas please post them here! Thank you so much! I already know about painting fingernails and toenails. And taking baths, or lighting candles and having a cup of tea. If you have any other ideas besides that I would be happy to hear. Thanks again!

1. Soothing music.

2. Breathing.

Seroiously! Lie on the floor with a warm, wet towel over face and just concentrate on breathing in - and breathing out.

This can be very relaxing!

Well, if you want to truly pamper yourself, dont discount the baths our candles. Instead start with them. Run a warm bath (lots of bubbles) play some soothing music (whatever that means to you it could be metal if thats what works for you) light some candles and sip on a nice glass of wine. Once the wine has gone and the bubbles dissapated (your muscles should be more relaxed) go back to your room (naked of coarse) and give yourself a full body massage with your favorite lotion. Once all relaxed its time to lay back and enjoy your favorite non evasive hobby ie:reading, watching tv, working on that cross stitch project. Dont think about work/housework. Dont think about the pets, kids or family members or friends just take the day to think about yourself. If you need pampering then you need to do all of the things that make you feel good about yourself. Maybe start writing that book you have always wanted to write or that song that you have always wanted to compose. You dont need to buy anything to make yourself feel like the queen you are just embrace who you are and your surroundings and spend the day daydreaming. Make the whole day about you. I dont know that I have been of any help but I hope that you can find some way to relax that will make you feel "warm and cozy" inside and out about yourself. Good luck.

Ok. I'm not sure what you like, but it sounds to me like you really want to pamper yourself and have some "me" time. Working on your appearance is not pampering yourself...and you recognize that. lol. most people don't. ok. i don't know if you like coffee, but if you do, i suggest taking a cup of that or hot chocolate and sitting on your porch or patio. i smoke outside of my home(disgusting, i know) and my favorite part of the day is going outside in the morning with my coffee, cigarette, and blanket. you would be surprised how "calming" that is. You could also scrapbook, go through recipes, photos, etc. Sounds like too much work? You could always try something artsy. Painting, coloring, ( I color all the time) writing, or just make up a song and sing it. I guess the best way to help you is to tell you to enjoy the simple things in life. They may not sound interesting...but then when was the last time you did something silly like go outside with a blanket and a mug in your hand?

If you don't want to go out, my best suggestion would be to get in to that tub. Put some soothing music on, run a hot bath, and if you don't have any fancy bath products, you can use a sup of Epsom salt and if you are lucky enough to have a lavender plant get a few buds and grind them a bit with a rolling pin (to get those oils working), you can also use oranges thinly sliced or grapefruit (to awaken the senses). Make your own body scrub by using sugar (preferably brown) and olive oil, or oatmeal and whole milk. Hope this helps!

Make yourself a nice meal, light some incense and just relax. It depends on how fancy you are trying to get. You can read a book, watch a movie or whatever, I think pampering should be relaxing and not something that cost a whole bunch. You could have your girlfriends over and have a girls night in.

I would have to say take a milk and honey bath. What I do is use about half gallon of milk (any kind) and some honey into your bath. When you done use baby oil (but you have to put it on when you are still wet) it will make your skin so soft. Another way is make your own sugar scrub. Take sugar (about a cup) and mix with honey (make sure all of the sugar is mixed with the honey) the rub all over then wash off. You will have such smooth skin.

Get a pedicure! All you need is some warm water (put it in a bucket, or fill up the tub a bit, add some shower gel and soak your feet.) To make a homemade foot scrub, mix brown sugar with olive oil and rub on your feet. Then get the nail polish, clean your toes and apply the base coat, then 2 coats of the color you want and finish with a top coat. After it dries, apply foot lotion to your feet; make sure not to mess up the polish. If you don’t want to use the nail polish, apply the lotion (body lotion will do the trick too) and put some socks on- this will soften the skin.

1. This doesn't sound like "pampering," but it is really nice--take a walk but make it a slow, meandering walk and just enjoy being outside.

2. Listen to your favorite music through headphones. This way, it is the only thing you hear and you can absorb it fully.
