Plan B, aka Emergency Contraception or "the morning after pill", can be taken up to 120 hours (or 5 days) after unprotected intercourse. It is MOST effective within 3 days but it does still offer some protection at 5 days. After 5 days, its effectiveness nosedives. Best of luck!

Plan B is now available without a prescription if you're over the age of 18, but I think its only effective in the first 72 hours. I'm not familiar with anything for the range you're asking about.

Sorry, hun. There is nothing that will prevent pregnancy at this point. Implantation can occur at two days. Where sperm can live in the vaginal canal for up to six days, most of them have died by now, and a few have probably already reached the egg. So, if she is going to be pregnant, the damage is already done. Sorry.

I know about the "morning after pill". You can get it at Planned Parenthood but you need to take it asap. I don't know if 3or 4 days would be too late. It has a high efficacy rate, about as good as the pill. Call planned parenthood, they can fill you in.

You can have an IUD fitted up to 5 days after unprotected sex. The idea is that it stops any fertilized egg implanting.

there is the mornin after pill but 4-7 days is too long to take it now so I guess your stuck with nothing to do but wait to see if your preggers good luck

The morning after pill...but it's best to take it right away for it to work the best.
