When I go to Download the objects I click the object then extract then my documents then ea games then sims 2 and thats it. Am I doing this totallywrong? The files are in my downloads but not in the game. PLEASE HELP ME!

I have all expansion packs also. I dont remember it asking me if I would like to add custom content.

Were they recolours of meshes that are not Maxis made? that could be why they are not in your game. check the sites you downloaded from to see if you need a mesh for the object to work.

If you have expansion packs installed; after the loading screen, does it show you a dialogue box asking you if you want run run custom content in your game? If so you have to check the box that says yes.
Otherwise, maybe the downloads aren't compatible with your game if you don't have the required expansion packs.

You need to put them in My Documents/EA Games/Sims 2/Downloads
If they aren't in the downloads folder the game wont pick them up
