The dumbest widespread spelling mistake I see is "your" vs. "you're".

Is it really that difficult to remember that "you're" is a contraction for "you are"? Sheesh.

"Too" vs. "to" definitely ranks too.

maybe because of the fact theist is asserted in a various thank you to atheist. The atheist makes the ei sound like "e" somewhat of "a" yet i'm no longer completely helpful that it is the explanation. maybe it is authentic, as creatrix shows, that atheists are for some reason extra perfect spellers. If it have been it may actually effect in atheist being spelt incorrectly extra frequently as atheists use the be conscious theist maximum frequently on a similar time as all of us makes use of the be conscious atheist.

In your ? for example you should have said commonly. And you don't need the word of at all.Just use : after word and write 'too'.

I notice all the things all the responders have said. But my main peeves are their and there. That said I get very confused with who's and whose and can never decide where I should use which one. I hate the apostrophe thing too.

It is too easy to use the word "two" correctly, if one only uses logic. :o)

A missing apostrophe in "its" when it is required, or an apostrophe added when it's not.
