Real good question. I'm going with Bonds. I think he knows that this will be his last season, and he wants to go out big while breaking Aarons' record. I think that he's done everything possible during the offseason to make sure that he can squeeze one last 'hoorah' of out his aging body. Barry hits 30[maybe a few more]; Piazza and Jr. dont.

Assuming that all three are healthy, then Barry Bonds would obviously hit more home runs. Griffey and Piazza may both hit the 25 mark, but Bonds, if healthy all season, will hit around 40. I mean, how many homers did he hit in limited games last season? It's crazy.

I don't care if he is jacked up, Barry Bonds is still an outstanding hitter with amazing bat speed, and more importantly, hitting intelligence. HE shouldn't be completly discredited for using the steroids, and shouldn't be banned from the Hall or anything.

I do think his single season mark should be erased though.

With Piazza in the American League he now gets to rest his knees. That will definitely help him pop as few more out, but i still think Bonds will hit more. Not a whole lot more however. Bonds 28 hr, Piazza 25 hr Griffey JR. 21 hr. Staying healthy is key for all three.

I like this question. I don't think Bonds will get as much playing time because he'll have to play the field and his defense is just horrible(and I'm hoping he gets badly injured). If Junior stays healthy it will be him hands down, but how often is Junior healthy? So I'm gonna say Piazza because all he has to do is DH, plus the fact that the A's are going to be facing some of the worst pitching in the AL in the Mariners and Rangers.

I think (and hope) Piazza will because A) he is DH and does not field this season, B) Griffy's hurt and will miss some of the season, C) Bonds is a cheat and to me, he hasn't hit a homerun without cheating in several years. Also, I am a Mets fan, so I hope Piazza hits a lot of home runs.

I say Piazza actually.. Griffey is injured (will probably miss a lot of time) and Bonds will be slow to get going with the pressure on him most..

Barry Bonds, however surrounded with controversy, can nonetheless hit the lengthy-ball, and merits a shot. Griffey, for specific, is on hearth this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and additionally could participate. They the two have 1000's of homeruns greater advantageous than many of the boys interior the contest (some probabally grew up watching them as a toddler). i think of having previous stars who can nonetheless hit is a large element for baseball.
