Yahoo does not provide a free protection package. They do provide a free AntiSpyware program in the Yahoo Toolbar. Yahoo also sells the Norton Antivirus program.

If you have your DSL through one of the Telephone Company and Yahoo compacts (AT&T, SBC, Verizon etc.), they have a free online protection package.

You can access the Online protection package in a couple of ways. If you use the My Yahoo homepage (that's the one with all the modules you can add yourself) go to the very bottom right and click the Download Software link.

If you do not use that hompage, go to the My Account link at the top of any Yahoo page. Sign in with your password, select the My Services tab, click on the Icon for Online Protection package.
