i was messin with my buddy actin like i would scratch his car but i guess my fingernail scratched it but its not deep at all... what is the best way to remove it

Rubbing Compound will help cover it up. you can get it at any auto store or wal mart.

Any good polish or compound will remove this. Just a surface scratch, no damage. If white paint, it can actually be bleached out using lacquer thinner to make it disappear. Just follow up with wax after to reseal the area, for lacquer will strip any other wax off.

worse case, have someone or a detail shop hit with a high speed buffer and it will be done in matter of seconds.

First off, check and make sure your fingernail scratched it. The paint should not be so weak as to be scratched by fingernails.

Second, one can take out light scratches by rubbing compound. Just remember to follow directions. You may want to go to a junk yard to practice first.

Don't use rubbing compound. If you scratched it with your finger nail, a small amount of wax & some elbow grease should fix it up.

try to buff it out, get scratch b gone at your local walmart and try to buff it out. it should work since its not deep.
