they both have created public outrage for different reasons, when Superman was killed it was rather shocking but when they replaced him with those 4 retards the public was screaming for his return and he came back. Captain America was just killed off today so the jury's still out on that one with what is going on in Iraq right now and with the White house in turmoil with this guy Libby convicted of lying about a CIA spy this country could use a positive symbol for America, so I really don't expect him to be dead for long.

Well, both of them have died in the comic book world. Superman's death only drew a little bit of outrage from the public and the only person that's spoken up about not liking Captain America's death is his co-creator, Joe Simon.

You'd think that since Simon was 97 years old, they could've waited to kill off Capt. America until after his creator had passed.

I think that Cap's death will shock more. Especially in light of the state of the world right now. After 9/11 all of America was feeling really patriotic and who is more patriotic than Captain America. At the time we needed something to believe in and it was cool to think that some scrawny average Joe would undertake the risk that he did all for his country.
Superman was a worldly known figure. Capt. America was invented by an American to specifically fight for America when America needed a lift, now with all that is wrong here I feel that to kill off one of the most iconic American heroes of all time when it seems we need something that is good about America, is completely shocking.

I have to say, Captain America’s because Marvel has been gearing up with their Civil War storyline to make their comic book America a caricature of the real thing, so they must eliminate their enemy—Cap—who would otherwise show them up for what they are. They are sellouts who are trying to make more money by replacing the noble and admirable heroes with scruffy anti-heroes. The preparation, the buildup shows that it is deliberate, not just an idea to see what happens with the character.

I hope that you will all express your outrage over this by refusing to buy Marvel Comics. They didn’t learn their lesson with Civil War.

Are you asking which do we desire? i pick to assert that i like them the two, yet i think of i'm leaning in direction of Superman. Superman replaced into between the 1st comedian e book characters I first study (the 1st being Batman). and that i in simple terms individually think of that he's a tad extra exciting, together with his villains. and because some people are thinking while you're asking who could win in a combat, i assume i'm no longer the only one thinking if that's what you're implying. because of the fact Cap's shelter won't take care of him from something Superman hurls, maybe artic breath aside. Edit: and that i myself do no longer think of that Thor and Captain united statesa. could be a sturdy combat. Thor destroys Captain.

Captain America. Superman was killed for like 3 days to make the sales go up. It was a horrible idea and they really messed it up. Captain America was killed for the story. DC never does anything right

Superman's death was bad.

Captain America will shock. The reason is, he is a symbol. Wait and see, he will live again.

captain america, he is a more important hero that superman and he represents our country (or at least he did until he rebelled against it in the civil war).
