When somethings a constant in your life, you take it for granted, yes cliche, but true. If you go on long enough with that person in your life, your brain starts thinking its a constant, that will always be there. Its like when you have the freedom to eat chocolate everyday, you might not eat it every single day, but you could choose to if you wanted too, but then theres one day were you can't have chocolate, its not possible, you dont' have that choice, and all of sudden you want it.
Anything you do for such a long period of time or have, and all of sudden is taken out, gives you a jolt.

Because only when that person leaves you, you begin to appreciate the difference or the impact the person has made in your life

We take life for granted sometimes, we look at what we don't have rather than what we do have. And finally, when we look what we have lost.. you wished you had the chance to spend more time with it.

It's not true, really. I had some awesome friends, and it took me a mere three years of not seeing them to forget about them.
