What did Chavez to for the whole country? MLK and Chavez are like apples and oranges, otherwise no comparison

I say no you cant even compare MLK to Cesar Chavez, first of all was a Mexican hero and cared for only Hispanics not American, MLK cared for African Americans and the unification of all people.

No, because he's not and American hero... he's a Mexican hero. Let THEM celebreate the guy in their own country.

Yes...he brought awareness of the migrant workers plight to national attention, and improved countless peoples' quality of life...and more people need to realize what he achieved...
