Don't do it.
Its a shite job, and is very difficult to pass the tests.
The training alone will cost you around £2500.
Then you have to buy the car, fuel etc. ensure you have enough lessons booked.
Remember you'll need about 20 mins at least between lessons to drive to the next one - 12 hour days seven days a week are the norm!

I assume you are asking what to do to do to get on one.
Apply at BSM. They will send you to London for an intensive one week course
While you are there they will apply for your trainees licence for you and probably put your name down for your part 1 written examination. (which I took in Birmingham)
On returning to you home town you will be put straight to work as a trainee driving instructor. Some of your wage will be taken by BSM to pay for the course,
During your fist year as an instructor you will be required to take 3 examinations
Part 1. Already mentioned
Part 2. A driving test
Part 3. An instructional test
Having passed all 3 you will get your instructors licence ADI Approved Driving Instructor
