Should I keep a job in which I am soooooo incredibly bored and do absolutely nothing or should I stick with it and bare the long day? It pays minimum wage. I really hate just sitting there all day doing nothing and being soooo bored. And I want to find a new job, but it's difficult. Should I quit anyway?

Find a job first unless you have money to live on for awhile. If you want to try something interesting how about volunteering for the peace corps...they pay room and board or a production assistant which is a person who helps film crews. Where are you located? What are your skills?

Well, unemployment is unusually low right now, that means that there are lots of jobs out there.

You're in a great position to improve your situation. Since you're making minimum wage, I'm guessing you only have a high-school diploma or less. I'd advise stick to your current job while you to go back to school, even if you don't have a new career picked out yet.

If you really are sitting around bored doing nothing, why not get some homework done during that time?

Quitting a job never looks good to a potential employer, unless you are quitting to go back to school or have already found another job.

If you are bored at work, let your manager know that you would like to do something more challenging. I'm sure he/she won't have a problem finding something more for you to do.

Go find another job that either pays better of is more interesting. Find the next job before you quit.

You should just continue looking for a job that you enjoy. After you find one, then quit your current job. Find something that makes you happy.
