I use manual, because I enjoy shifting.

I like Manual because I like to be in control! But, I also like Automatic so I can eat and drive more comfortably! lol

I have always drove and wanted to drive stick shifts. I am 36 and always buy cars with a manual transmission

Automatic with tiptronic. This way you can eat or relax or do whatever you'd like in your car that can't be done while shifting, but when you're in the mood for more in control sporty racing, you switch over to the tiptronic and the gears are in your control.

Shifting at THAT engine speed (6500 RPM) is hard on the tranny AND the engine (assuming a Probe COULD rev to 6500) What's the point of doing that anyway? This isn't exactly a race car now is it?

Manuals are fun on the road but suck in traffic, mine isn't hydraulic and if I hold it in for too long my leg starts to shake

Powerglide with a trans brake--nice for high rpm launches...
1/4 mile at a time...best way to fly...
